Battle of the Exotic Cars: The Porsche and Ferrari
If you could decide on between the Porsche 911 Carrera 4S o the Ferrari F430, which one could it be? They happen to be the German and Italian conceptions of the sports car idea, and a different sides of the same coin. Each company has got over 50 years of racing expertise so they have a full understanding of style and engineering. The two companies have already been put in head-to-head battles and comparisons have been made, whether on the roads or racing at Le Mans. These two companies have long been attached to performance and style.
There is no question that the Porsche 911 Carrera 4S or the Ferrari F430 have proven to be sports cars, real and simple. The Ferrari has been generally about romance as the Porsche has been a clear-cut sports car but both of them are all about excellent speed and performance. There are numerous features that a present day sports car should have, such as easily maneuvering around town, and being started without any trouble. It has to be a power on the racetrack though still be very safe to drive. Considering that both cars have managed to grasp the requirements of the ultra-modern sports car, their figures will need to be measured. This seems to be the best way to differentiate these cars, and choose which one is the most phenomenal. While it is unlikely that you'll ever be able to plunk down the $100,000+ to buy either of these cars, you can experience the thrill of driving one - at least for one day, anyway.
You really should be impressed by the lightning quick acceleration of 4-second 0-100km/h of the Ferrari, and their thrilling exhaust tone. The 4.3-litre V8 new generation engine, pushes out 368 kilowatts, while it pins you and your occupant to your seats. You can easily count on similar acceleration from the Porsche but it comes in at a slightly slower 4.8 seconds. It is only standard for each of the cars to excel in braking, with such good performance in acceleration. The impressive stopping originates from the optional ceramic discs they both offer. A Porsche's fuel economy of 11.8 liters for 100 km is better than the Ferrari which has a fuel economy of 18.3 liters for 100 km. The handling on both of those cars is excellent and both have 6-speed gearboxes.
The Porsche 911 Carrera 4S and the Ferrari F430 are small, they're able to maximize the interior space so that passengers won't feel cramped. Ferrari really does its greatest to offer sleek styling featuring aluminum, carbon fiber and suede however they lack the fit and finish of the Porsche. The most significant attraction for any fantastic sports car is the style and look. As you would expect, even with being a nice looking automobile, the Carrera 4S will not get the same reaction as a Ferrari. No matter how terrific the functionality a Porsche has, its styling cannot be compared to a Ferrari F430. The Ferrari might take your breath away with its looks, but the Porsche Carrera 4S has a more complete package all around, so it wins the title of super car.
